This campaign belongs to the Internet. If people online hadn’t relentlessly mocked AI’s inability to generate hands and fingers accurately,  we’d never have seen the opportunity. A silly Ai glitch to most but for a brand built on finger lickin’ good, it was pure gold.

 

Issue: KFC was launching its sauciest nugget ever, but with no budget for a photoshoot and no way to stand out in a sea of food content

Insight: For over 70 years, KFC has owned “It’s Finger Lickin’ Good”, so what happens when your nuggets are extra saucy? You’ll need extra fingers.

Idea: We turned AI’s biggest flaw - generating too many fingers -  into our advantage. Using Meta’s new AI tools, we invited fans to create their own saucy, many fingered hands holding KFC’s new nuggets. 

Impact: A $0-budget campaign that generated thousands of AI images, endless laughs, and made everyone rethink what “Finger Lickin’ Good” means in the AI era.
